About the Role:
The Clinical Nutrition Specialist will:
- Deliver comprehensive nutritional assessments and care across various inpatient units;
- Implement medical nutrition therapy in outpatient settings;
- Participate in weekend coverage to ensure quality care;
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives, including patient satisfaction evaluations and food quality assessments;
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and nursing staff;
- Mentor and guide dietetic interns.

Candidate Profile:
We are looking for individuals who possess:
- Registered Dietitian credentials with a valid state license;
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
- Strong organizational abilities and a proactive approach to teamwork;
- The capability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications:
Educational Requirements:
- Master’s degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as per the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND);
- For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor’s degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by ACEND.

Credential Requirements:
- Must meet eligibility criteria for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) and achieve registration within a specified timeframe after hire;
- State certification/licensure as required by practice regulations.
