About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian Nutritionist II to join our team at Beaufort Memorial Hospital in Beaufort, SC. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing nutritional care to patients across various inpatient units and providing medical nutrition therapy in our general outpatient clinic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units, including medical, surgical, and pediatric units.
  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans for patients with complex medical conditions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams, including physicians and nurses, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Conduct quality improvement initiatives, such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays, to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Precept dietetic interns and educate healthcare team members on nutrition-related topics.
Requirements
  • Registered Dietitian credentials and licensure in SC.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good time management skills and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work well with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff.
