About the Job

At CVR Associates, INC, we are seeking a highly skilled Housing Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for performing various activities related to the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program, including interviewing applicants, verifying data, processing applications, and conducting home visits.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the HCV program and excellent communication skills. They will be responsible for assisting clients with inquiries and resolving issues related to their housing needs. Additionally, they will provide landlord interface assistance and investigate client issues requiring expertise in determining causes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree plus one year of experience working with the public in a Housing Choice Voucher Program or similar relevant experience;
  • OR High School diploma plus a minimum of four years' experience working with economically and socially disadvantaged individuals and/or families in a similar capacity;
  • Proficiency with current office technology and software applications;
  • Prior work experience in an office environment is a plus.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
