Position Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Tax Manager to join our finance team. This role presents an exciting chance to engage in a fast-paced and rewarding environment. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing and coordinating tax strategies, ensuring adherence to tax regulations, preparing tax returns, and planning for future tax initiatives. A thorough understanding of tax laws and exceptional analytical skills are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage the company's tax policies and objectives.
2. Ensure compliance with all applicable state, local, and federal tax laws and regulations.
3. Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions.
4. Conduct tax research, interpret tax regulations, and provide guidance on tax-related matters.
5. Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities and enhance profitability.
6. Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure precise financial reporting and decision-making support.
7. Provide guidance during tax audits and negotiations with tax authorities.
8. Stay informed about the latest developments in tax laws and regulations.
9. Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors as necessary.
10. Mentor and train junior staff members.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or Master’s degree in Taxation is highly desirable.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax management role, preferably within the finance sector.
3. Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
4. Proficient in tax preparation, compliance, and planning.
5. Extensive experience in corporate tax, tax returns, research, and accounting.
6. Familiarity with real estate tax and advisory services.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
8. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
10. High level of integrity and professionalism.
