Job Opportunity at LifeScape

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Therapist to join our team at LifeScape, a leading provider of community support services. As a Behavioral Therapist, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorders and challenging behaviors in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans to promote positive behavior change
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify behavioral needs and develop strategies for improvement
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including physical, occupational, and speech therapists, to provide comprehensive support services
  • Provide training and supervision to junior staff members to ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Participate in ongoing research and development of new interventions and strategies to improve outcomes for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Applied Behavior Analysis or Psychology
  • BCBA certification and licensure in the state of South Dakota
  • Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders and challenging behaviors
  • Ability to provide early intervention services using evidence-based approaches, such as Early Intensive Behavior Intervention (EIBI) or Early Start Denver Model (ESDM)
