Key Responsibilities:
As a Practical Nursing Specialist, your duties will include:
- Overseeing the daily operations of nursing assistants.
- Collaborating with nursing staff and support personnel to plan and implement services, programs, and activities for the shift.
- Preparing and administering medications as prescribed by physicians.
- Facilitating admissions, transfers, and discharges of residents as necessary.
- Providing leadership and guidance to nursing personnel on your unit or shift.
- Ensuring compliance with established safety protocols regarding equipment and supplies.
- Maintaining confidentiality of all resident care information, including protected health information.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A valid Illinois Nursing License (Required)
- Current CPR certification (Preferred)
