Job Summary

The Registered Nurse is a key member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading the nursing staff in our skilled nursing facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Direct and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of nursing assistants, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Patient Care: Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, performing routine charting duties, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Develop and maintain effective working relationships with inter-departmental personnel, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Quality Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines governing nursing care facilities.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Current unencumbered state license as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Clinical Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of nursing and medical practices, procedures, and regulations.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday, with the capacity to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
