Quality Assurance Specialist

W3Global Inc. is seeking a skilled Quality Control and Testing Assistant to join our team in Prineville, OR. As a key member of our quality department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our HDPE pipe production.

Key Responsibilities- Conduct various material tests in a controlled lab environment to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of test results and methods, ensuring seamless documentation and reporting.
- Enter test results into the relevant database accurately and efficiently.
- Assist in developing, documenting, and updating test procedures to reflect changes in protocols or regulations.
- Inspect pipes at various stages of production to identify potential flaws or defects.
- Evaluate finished pipes to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications, utilizing tools such as tape measures, rules, calipers, and micrometers.
- maintain a clean and organized working environment, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required; relevant experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
- Strong basic mathematical calculations skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel are essential.
- Fine attention to detail and physical endurance to perform tasks that require leaning over or crawling through pipes.
- An ability to work well in a team environment or independently, with minimal supervision.
- Experience working in a laboratory environment, particularly in pipe extrusion production.
- Familiarity with pipe extrusion production processes and quality control procedures.
- Documented forklift operation certification and previous work history in a manufacturing environment.
