We are seeking a highly motivated Retail Security Specialist to join our team at Burlington Stores, Inc. This role is responsible for maintaining a secure shopping environment and providing exceptional customer service.

About the Job
  • As a Shortage Control Associate, you will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
  • You will work closely with store leadership to identify and address potential security risks, promoting a safe and enjoyable shopping environment.
  • Your ability to communicate effectively and build trust with customers and colleagues will be critical in this role.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a professional appearance and presence at all times.
  • Monitor store entrances, exits, and high-risk areas to prevent theft and ensure customer safety.
  • Engage with customers and provide assistance as needed, promoting a sense of control and security.
  • Collaborate with store leadership to develop and implement strategies to reduce shortages and improve overall store performance.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, AP/LP, or Operations is preferred.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and visually monitor the store environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build trust with customers and colleagues.
