About the Role

This Vision Care Specialist position offers a unique opportunity to combine your passion for customer service with your interest in optometry and eyewear. As an EyeCare Advisor at LensCrafters, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to patients, while also contributing to the success of our store through effective teamwork and problem-solving.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Promptly greet and assist customers, responding to their needs and concerns
  • Explain products and services, including frames, lenses, and contact lenses, and make recommendations tailored to individual customers' needs
  • Process prescriptions and orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring seamless interactions between patients, doctors, and retail teams
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; previous experience in optical or retail environments an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with cash handling and basic math skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
