Role Overview:

The Security Systems Service Technician at Johnson Controls is a skilled troubleshooter and service professional with expertise in various security systems, including intrusion detection, IP CCTV, access control, and fire alarm systems from diverse manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities:

~ Conduct thorough inspections of security systems to verify operational efficiency and generate detailed reports for clients and internal use.

~ Identify and resolve issues related to malfunctioning equipment or wiring.

~ Adjust, repair, or replace non-functional equipment and perform operational tests.

~ Collaborate with law enforcement, fire departments, and other relevant agencies for inspections and installations.

~ Execute repairs and inspections of intrusion detection systems, IP CCTV, access control systems, and fire alarms as required.

~ Support fellow technicians with system repairs and handle minor maintenance tasks, such as battery replacements.

~ Test system operations to ensure proper connectivity with customer monitoring centers.

Qualifications:

~ Strong foundational knowledge of major security manufacturer platforms.

~ Ability to safely manage ladders and operate fleet vehicles responsibly.
