The **Senior Field Service Supervisor** plays a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer service by effectively scheduling and leading the Field Service Customer Service Team. Responsibilities may differ by region but typically include overseeing or directly engaging in customer service tasks related to the management and maintenance of the Company’s distribution assets. This encompasses meter reading, addressing water quality concerns, and managing hydrant services. The supervisor will also be tasked with overseeing emergency repair operations and supporting Customer Service functions.

This role involves leading the Customer Service Team’s activities, which includes scheduling, resource coordination, and performance monitoring to achieve the Company and Region's Field Service objectives. Collaboration with the Superintendent is essential for effective team management.

Clear communication with team members and leadership is vital to ensure that the team embodies Company values and contributes positively to organizational goals. The supervisor will also be responsible for the training and development of team members, ensuring they possess the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.

Administrative responsibilities are also part of this role, including work order management, maintaining up-to-date operations and maintenance records, generating monthly performance reports, and approving invoices and purchase orders.

The supervisor will oversee the region's meter reading operations, ensuring compliance with billing cycles and identifying areas for efficiency improvements.

In this position, the supervisor will either directly or indirectly maintain distribution assets, which includes flushing mains, hydrant upkeep, service box repairs, and other necessary system maintenance.

Additionally, the supervisor will coordinate the installation of assets such as mains, hydrants, services, and meters, either directly or by managing the work of others.

Engagement with customers and local officials is crucial to proactively manage all Customer Service-related activities, fostering positive relationships within the community.

Collaboration with contractors is also part of the role, ensuring that all activities comply with Company standards, including safety, water quality, and customer satisfaction. The supervisor will oversee regional linebacker work.

Maintaining Company facilities is another responsibility, which may include snow removal, tree maintenance, road repairs, and dam upkeep.

Additional duties or special projects may be assigned as needed.
