Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Department Coordinator to join our team at TJ Maxx. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for promoting an exceptional customer experience, leading a team of Associates, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by example, providing outstanding customer service and promoting loyalty programs
  • Train and mentor Associates on front-end principles, including personalizing the customer experience and promoting credit and loyalty programs
  • Assign registers, support POS coverage needs, and coordinate breaks for all Associates
  • Address customer concerns and issues promptly, ensuring a positive customer experience
  • Communicate effectively with management and Associates, prioritizing tasks and providing progress updates
  • Partner with management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness
  • Ensure adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
Requirements
  • Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
  • Strong understanding of merchandising techniques and ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail
  • Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
  • Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
  • Able to train others and provide recognition and constructive feedback
