About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Underwriting Technician to join our team at Allianz Commercial. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for developing strong relationships with our brokers, underwriters, and operations partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide effective and efficient service to brokers, clients, underwriting, claims, and credit control/accounting.
  • Support UW production by reviewing and interpreting source underwriting materials regarding completeness of required information.
  • Act as a point of contact for underwriters, brokers, and operations offshore Account Technicians, and support timely and accurate delivery of Quotes, Policy documentation, Endorsements, etc.
  • Proactive communication with all relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactively and collaboratively manage and prioritize workflow to ensure key performance indicators and service standards are met.
  • Support continuous process improvement and automation initiatives.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience with Property & Casualty and/or Specialty Insurance.
  • Experience in policy administration or other core insurance services, with an advanced understanding of the policy administration life cycle.
  • Account management experience.
  • Experience working in a cross-cultural environment.
  • Ability to build and foster relationships across the organization and with our brokers/clients.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Effective team player.
