We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Underwriting Technician to join our team at Allianz Commercial. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will be responsible for providing efficient and high-quality underwriting administration services to brokers and clients.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of high premium and strategic accounts.
- Support senior underwriters with new business and renewal portfolio profiles.
- Engage with brokers and clients to ensure complete and accurate handling of accounts.
- Review and interpret source underwriting materials to ensure completeness of required information.
- Act as an initial contact for queries and ensure complete and accurate handling of accounts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business improvement opportunities.
- Support system UAT testing and other ad-hoc initiatives.
- 5+ years' experience in commercial or specialty insurance, preferably client servicing.
- 5+ years' experience in account management and ability to coordinate with other functions.
- Experience working in a cross-cultural environment with strong collaboration skills.
- Advance understanding of policy administration life cycle, relevant products, wordings, terms and conditions, and coverages.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Effective team player.
