Position Overview:
Command International Security Services is on the lookout for seasoned, dependable, and vigilant security personnel to maintain the safety and security of our clients' properties. This role involves active monitoring from a patrol vehicle, collaborating closely with store Asset Protection teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular patrols in designated areas to prevent unauthorized access and uphold a visible security presence, effectively deterring theft and incidents.
  • Respond to all communication via walkie-talkie and coordinate efforts with Asset Protection.
  • Conduct hourly check-ins with Asset Protection to reinforce security presence within the store.
  • Work in conjunction with on-site staff to address security issues and provide necessary support.
  • React swiftly to alarms or incidents, taking appropriate measures to resolve situations while following company protocols.
  • Keep precise and comprehensive logs of patrols, incidents, and activities throughout your shift.
  • Serve as a point of contact for visitors, employees, and contractors, offering assistance with directions and information as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in a bouncer-type role, with a willingness to work in retail environments prone to theft and with a significant homeless presence.
  • Ability to operate effectively in high-stress situations, demonstrating excellent communication skills to de-escalate conflicts.
  • Willingness to stand for extended periods and conduct foot patrols throughout the shift.
  • Possession of a valid CA BSIS Security Guard License.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, as patrol vehicles are utilized on-site.
  • Exceptional observational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable using technology, including CCTV systems and communication devices.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Reliable transportation is essential.
