Associate Director, Market Access Marketing Oncology

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our Market Access and Oncology Marketing team at AbbVie. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the launch strategy for Telisotuzumab vedotin (Teliso-V), an investigational HCP-administered product for NSCLC, as well as supporting pipeline assets in development in both hematology and solid tumor oncology.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Execute Market Access Launch Strategy: Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and execute a comprehensive market access launch strategy for Teliso-V, including payer coverage and reimbursement.
- Build Value Proposition: Help build a value proposition that conveys the clinical and economic value provided by Teliso-V, understanding and articulating the business implications and economic impact for each stakeholder.
- Coordinate Stakeholder Involvement: Lead the coordination of relevant stakeholder involvement for successful payer coverage and reimbursement of Teliso-V at launch.
- Manage Agency Relations: Coordinate and manage agency relations and activities in conjunction with external collaboration partners to enable development of core launch materials for Market Access Field Teams.
- Drive Primary Market Research: Partner with marketing analytics and insights to drive primary market research activities designed to inform launch strategy and development of value proposition.
- Ensure Seamless Patient Access: Partner with the Supply Chain Team regarding the distribution network to ensure seamless patient access to therapy.
- Track and Align Launch KPIs: Create and track a set of launch KPIs to measure access goals.
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a US Market Access and reimbursement subject matter expert and provide guidance to Global Commercial Development and Global Market Access and Pricing teams.
- Bachelor's Degree: Required to demonstrate an appropriate level of business acumen, the ability to process scientific information and financial analysis.
- Marketing or Market Access Experience: 5-7 years of experience required, with previous experience supporting HCP-administered assets.
- Knowledge of Commercial and Medicare FFS Aspects: Knowledge of the Commercial and Medicare FFS aspects of the Medical Benefit and associated utilization management and reimbursement dynamics.
- Previous Oncology Experience: Strongly preferred, but not required.
- US Market Access Experience: 3 years of experience preferred.
- Pre-launch Activities and Market Access Launch Experience: Demonstrated understanding of financial planning and analysis.
