The Account Manager Trainee position is designed for strong-minded candidates seeking a definite career in account management and sales. As an entry-level role, we require daily travel to our onsite Vancouver location. Local candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet directly with leading business prospects to deliver presentations and build long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Educate potential buyers on our client's current products, ongoing promotions, and updated services.
  • Assist our clients in acquiring new accounts and overseeing expanding markets.
  • Train directly with Senior Account Managers to develop full knowledge of our client's marketing campaigns, sales strategies, and sales team goals.
  • Review sale contracts with clients, identify their concerns, and negotiate accounts through upselling products and services as needed.
  • Attend all conference calls and participate in on-site training workshops to stay current on our client's sales progress.
  • Collaborate with fellow Account Manager Trainees, Sales Associates, and Marketing Representatives to ensure our client's needs are met.

Requirements:

  • In Progress or Bachelor's Degree in Management, Marketing, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 0-3 years of experience working as an Account Manager, Sales Representative, or other related leadership role preferred.
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to develop leadership qualities.
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments.
  • Comfortable working independently and adaptable collaborating in a team setting.
  • Self-determined and takes initiative in creating solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Reliable transportation to onsite location.

Estimated Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
