Primary Responsibilities:1. Product Management
  • Collaborate with vendor partners and project leads to develop a unified project timeline.
  • Engage with stakeholders to comprehend the business strategy and ensure alignment with the project timeline.
  • Oversee the scope and schedule of the project, tracking progress and addressing any obstacles that may arise.
  • Work closely with the Vendor Project Manager to prioritize and refine the product backlog, keeping development teams updated on status.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess software quality and delivery effectiveness, using insights to drive improvements.
  • Plan and communicate release schedules, setting clear expectations for new features and capabilities.
  • Manage project risks and dependencies to achieve objectives, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Provide strategic direction to the team and stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business goals.
2. Vendor Management
  • Collaborate with third-party solution providers to ensure that delivery goals and organizational priorities are met.
  • Review and approve technical specifications from vendors, ensuring clarity and agreement with internal teams.
  • Maintain proactive relationships with vendor account managers, driving continuous improvement in support models.
  • Stay informed about new features and functionalities of existing systems.
  • Prepare and present regular status reports to management and the Product Management Office.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure clarity on development priorities.
  • Participate in agile/scrum activities, including sprint planning and retrospectives, as needed.
  • Assist the Scrum Master in addressing impediments to successful sprint completion.
3. Leadership & Communication
  • Communicate issues and solutions effectively with all stakeholders, from team members to external vendors.
  • Ensure professional interactions with all customers, maintaining high service standards and follow-through.
  • Lead a team of dedicated professionals focused on client satisfaction.
  • Foster an inclusive team culture, empowering and mentoring team members.
  • Coordinate with IT peers to manage project impacts and dependencies.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a Technology or Delivery Project Manager.
  • Demonstrated experience in COTS/Package Product development and implementation.
  • Knowledge of data-driven projects, API integrations, and Data Warehousing.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard development software, methodologies (Agile, Waterfall), and best practices.
  • Strong relationship management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent analytical, planning, and organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Strategic and critical thinking skills, with the ability to break down complex challenges into actionable plans.
  • Proficiency in product owner tools and standard office software (MS Office, MS Project, MS Azure DevOps, Jira).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Mitratech - TeamConnect product is a plus.
