Position Overview:

DCI Donor Services is seeking a motivated and passionate individual to fill the role of External Affairs Coordinator. This position is essential in promoting our mission to enhance awareness of organ and tissue donation. We are looking for someone with a strong background in community outreach, marketing, and public relations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to raise awareness for organ and tissue donation through community events, campaigns, and presentations.
  • Establish and nurture partnerships with community organizations and corporate entities to advance our mission.
  • Utilize various platforms, including social media, webinars, and podcasts, to engage with partners and the community.
  • Coordinate events and opportunities for our volunteer base, known as Donate Life Ambassadors, to promote community involvement in saving lives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in community outreach, event coordination, public speaking, communication, management, or marketing.
  • Strong ability to exercise independent judgment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional teamwork and interpersonal skills, along with effective communication and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Proven writing and public speaking skills.
  • Excellent organizational capabilities and a creative approach to marketing and outreach.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive compensation package that includes:

  • Up to 176 hours of Paid Time Off (PTO) in the first year.
