About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Upward Projects Restaurant Group. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in providing high-quality food in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, inventory management, and kitchen operations.
  • Direct and supervise kitchen staff to ensure seamless execution of menu items and exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and sanitation in the kitchen.
  • Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment to optimize kitchen efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement new menu items and promotions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive dining experience for our guests.
Requirements
  • 1 year of full-service restaurant kitchen management experience or 3-5 years of service industry management experience.
  • Associate's degree in Culinary, Hospitality, Management, or Business preferred.
  • State Food Handler's Management Certification is required.
