At HealthPartners, we're seeking a highly skilled Technical Infrastructure Director to join our team. As a key member of our leadership group, you'll oversee multiple teams and drive the strategy, administration, and planning of our technical infrastructure services. This role requires a deep understanding of technical infrastructure services and the ability to align our infrastructure strategy with our mission, vision, and goals.

The Technical Infrastructure Director is responsible for ensuring that capacity models and planning for services and same-store growth (SSG) are supported and maintained. This includes budgetary and leadership responsibility for 10-12 direct reports and total accountability of approximately 90 personnel. The team operates in an Agile environment and works across multiple platforms, including Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Citrix, and VMware, as well as End User Computing (EUC).

This is a strategic leadership role that demands a strong understanding of technical infrastructure services, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in Information Technology, with a minimum of 8 years in Infrastructure Services and 8 years in management or leadership roles. Proficiency in communication skills, including presenting to groups, discussing technical topics, and documenting ideas clearly and concisely, is essential.

Additional requirements include experience with data centers and/or Cloud computing, automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef), as well as regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, Sarbanes Oxley, FDA requirements, Payment Card Industry Standards). A strong capacity management planning experience, excellent analysis and critical thinking skills, and strong arbitration and negotiation skills are also necessary.

In this role, you'll be responsible for supervising staff, hiring, training, and developing a team of technical professionals. You'll also partner with IT to deliver seamless and transparent technical solutions and products within IT. The salary for this role is estimated to be around $143,000 per year, based on the location and industry standards. This is a full-time position, and you'll be required to work on-site at least two days a week.
