Freight Brokerage Sales Professional

At FLS Transportation Services (USA) Inc., we are seeking a skilled Freight Brokerage Sales Professional to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating sales leads, maintaining relationships with existing clientele, and building business internally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate sales leads through inside sales networking, cold-calling prospects, and building relationships as part of a coordinated sales strategy;
- Maintain relationships with existing clientele and build business internally;
- Ensure new customers and business are fostered;
- Partner with internal operations/functional teams to create solutions based on customer needs;
- Create sales strategies by gathering market information, analyzing opportunities, and documenting sales methodology;
- Respond to client prospect inquiries by preparing responses to requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for quotations (RFQs);
- Prepare presentations and deliver them to prospective clients.
Requirements:
- Willingness to learn freight brokerage sales, with a desire to grow professionally;
- Ability to attract, bring on, close, and deliver new business;
- Passion for sales, work ethic, and a drive to succeed (exceed quota);
- Hard Working. Entrepreneurial. Accountable and Proactive;
- Organized, detail-oriented – excellent follow-up skills are essential;
- Ability to work in a collaborative/team environment;
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills (both verbal and written).
