- A minimum of six months of experience as a Patient Care Assistant in a healthcare setting.
- Adhere to ATC policies and procedures.
- Follow client facility nursing policies and procedures.
- Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Effectively communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
- Document patient care as required by facility policies.
- Implement the patient's care plan as directed.
- Provide personal care services to patients as assigned.
- Measure and record vital signs in accordance with facility protocols.
- Document patient intake and output as assigned.
- Engage in continuing education to maintain competency and meet state requirements.
- Deliver patient care in a respectful and culturally sensitive manner, ensuring the dignity and rights of all patients are upheld.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
