Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Northeast Georgia Health System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our stress lab.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients in our stress lab.
- Process and apply a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures for the competent delivery of nursing care.
- Comply with standards of practice, coordinate stress lab schedules, and ensure promptness and accuracy during noninvasive procedures.
- Prepare patients for ordered procedures, assist with Echo & Vascular studies, and collaborate with other healthcare team members to respond to patient and family needs.
- Complete all paperwork associated with tests performed, including copying and faxing of reports and placement of completed charts in the appropriate location.
- Follow physician orders, including patient education and maintaining education booklets, and provide prescribed medication samples.
- Maintain crash carts, check defibrillators, and document on logs.
- Identify and implement infection control and safety practices, and comply with OSHA regulations.
- Currently licensed as an LPN in the State of Georgia.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Successful completion of nursing skills checklist.
