Patient Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Care Technician/CNA to join our team at Medlink Georgia. As a key member of our patient-centered care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-focused care in a clinical office setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care, including gathering patient information, vital signs, and medical history.
- Direct patients to exam rooms and ensure a smooth and efficient patient flow.
- Participate in patient intake, including data entry and documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, including exam rooms and medical equipment.
- Follow clinic guidelines and protocols to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Prepare and perform paperwork and clerical duties, including answering phones and handling referrals.
- Participate in community health and disease prevention activities.
- Participate in the corporation's Quality Improvement Program.
- Collaborate with staff members during daily team huddles to ensure effective communication and patient care.
- Participate in staff development programs and promote team cohesiveness.
- Manage personal and staff clinical inboxes.
- Ensure timely response to appointment messages and requests via phone and portal.
- Educate patients about PCMH and how the care team can support their needs.
- Treat patients, staff, and visitors with dignity and respect.
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate with a strong foundation in patient care and a passion for delivering exceptional patient experiences. The ideal candidate will have:
- Graduation from an accredited program of Certified Nursing Assistant, Patient Care Technician, or Hospital Specialist.
- One year of experience in the medical field or completion of an approved internship program.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Nursing school students with applicable education are also encouraged to apply.
