As a Cloud Solutions Engineer, you will work closely with our customers to identify their technical needs and develop creative cloud solutions to address their business challenges. You will also collaborate with our product marketing and engineering teams to stay up-to-date on industry trends and develop enhancements to our Google Cloud products.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, infrastructure modernization, and technical sales engineering. You will be responsible for managing the technical relationship with our customers, including product briefings, proof-of-concept work, and coordination of additional technical resources.
Responsibilities- Inspire customers and peers to solve problems with solutions leveraging a set of technical competencies.
- Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, identify customer technical objections, and develop a strategy to resolve technical blockers.
- Manage the technical relationship with Google's customers, including managing product, solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of additional technical resources.
- Recommend migration strategies, enterprise architectures, migration tools, and cloud infrastructure required to complete solutions using best practices on Google Cloud.
- Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as needed.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$214,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
