Key Responsibilities:
  1. Safe Work Observation: Focus on changing employee behavior to achieve the Bechtel Zero Accident objective.
  2. Employee Feedback and Consequences: Provide timely and constructive feedback to employees, and enforce consequences for unsafe behavior.
  3. Blueprint Interpretation and Job Specification: Read and interpret blueprints, understand job specifications, and implement Bechtel job procedures and work rules.
  4. Project Prioritization and Coordination: Understand the work scope, integrate project priorities, and coordinate with other disciplines to prevent scheduling conflicts.
  5. Leadership and Supervision: Instruct journeymen in specific craft tasks, including safety procedures and techniques, and ensure that foremen are effectively supervising work crews.
  6. Quality Control and Reporting: Ensure the quality of work performed by the crafts under your supervision, and submit accurate reports on time sheets, backcharges, quantity, and work status.
  7. Communication and Problem-Solving: Participate in the free exchange of ideas, identify problems, and develop action plans to resolve them with minimal work disruption.
