Position Overview: Our client is actively looking for a Clinical Scientist for a permanent/direct hire role that offers remote work flexibility, with occasional requirements for onsite visits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, analyze, and interpret new clinical trial findings (including biomarkers, clinical pharmacology, and safety data) and lead preparations for significant study meetings (e.g., investigator meetings, monitoring committees, advisory boards).
  • Collaborate closely with the medical monitor to oversee clinical trial operations, including safety assessments and site interactions.
  • Engage with the wider clinical development team (clinical operations, data management, and regulatory teams).
  • Assist in drafting essential study and regulatory documents (e.g., protocol, informed consent forms, study manuals, briefing books).
  • Facilitate internal meetings to discuss topics and formulate mitigation strategies.
  • Contribute to the development of presentations, abstracts, and publications arising from clinical and translational research.
  • Partner with clinical and research teams to execute the clinical biomarker strategy for early-phase clinical trials.
  • Ensure compliance with ICH/GCP guidelines, relevant regulatory standards, and standard operating procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • A degree in Life Sciences (MD, PhD, Pharm D, MS, or a related scientific discipline is preferred).
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in clinical science, clinical research, or a related field is expected.
  • In-depth knowledge of GCP/ICH, drug development processes, study design, statistics, and clinical operations.
  • Basic understanding of the disease area, compounds, and the current clinical landscape.
  • Ability to draft regulatory documents and lead clinical scientist responsibilities.
  • Skills and knowledge to support program-specific data review and trend analysis.
  • Advanced medical writing capabilities and familiarity with medical terminology.
  • Basic knowledge of the establishment and functioning of data monitoring committees, medical review teams, and adjudication committees.
