Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Operations Specialist to join our team at The Bergaila Companies. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our oil and gas wells.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement daily work objectives, maintain a high standard of safety, health, and environmental practices, and participate in daily toolbox meetings and regular safety meetings.
  • Identify and implement corrective and optimization actions to ensure reliable, efficient, and safe operational conditions.
  • Function as an Equipment Care Technician, performing routine maintenance activities and ensuring equipment is in good working order.
  • Report and document all relevant operational events, abnormal situations, and deviations in the logbook.
  • Take samples of products for laboratory analysis and execute field laboratory tests.
  • Participate in emergency response activities and report incidents internally.
Requirements
  • Completed secondary education and previous experience as a Field Technician.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • High standard of Safety, Health, Environment aptitude and ability to cultivate the same in others.
  • Strong knowledge of pipeline operations, gas lift, and artificial lift.
  • Knowledge of safety and operations management tools and processes.
  • Broad knowledge of Emergency Preparedness Procedures.
  • Knowledgeable of relevant regulations and commercial agreements.
