Job SummaryThe Clinical Office Assistant is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing direct or indirect care to patients under the supervision of a physician. This role requires a strong foundation in medical knowledge and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Provide general patient care, including vital signs, medication administration, and wound care
- Assist with procedures, such as phlebotomy and EKGs
- Document patient information and maintain accurate records
- Provide patient education and support
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care
- Graduation certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Current certification from a recognized medical assisting organization (e.g. AAMA, AMT, NHA)
