Job Summary:The Associate Director of Clinical Trials will be responsible for overseeing the clinical trials operations at the Stravitz-Sanyal Liver Institute. This includes managing a team of Clinical Research Coordinators, collaborating with clinical teams, and ensuring the smooth execution of clinical trials.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a team of Clinical Research Coordinators, providing supervision, delegation of work assignments, and evaluation of staff performance.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to facilitate participant flow and coordination of all activities and communication for the research team.
- Assess trial complexity and workload, and allocate resources to ensure patient safety and clinical research excellence.
- Implement processes to improve, streamline, and stimulate the work environment.
- Develop and execute Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in collaboration with the Leadership Team.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field.
- Certification as a Clinical Research Professional through a national accrediting body.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in clinical research, with a demonstrated ability to work in a diverse environment.
- Masters degree in Nursing or a related field.
This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week. The position will remain open until a candidate is selected.
