Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Coordinator to join our team at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for coordinating various clinical research programs related to chronic liver disease and its complications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients for eligibility to participate in clinical trials and review medical records.
  • Present data to attending physicians for review and ensure patient safety is a top priority.
  • Coordinate patient care with research nurse coordinators, project managers, and NIH personnel.
  • Answer patient phone questions and assess information for attending physicians.
  • Analyze data and produce graphic illustrations for presentation to attending physicians.
Requirements
  • RN licensure required.
  • Experience with direct patient care and ability to work independently.
  • Good communication skills and ability to foster a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment.
  • Familiarity with Epic and VCUHS is preferred.
