Key Responsibilities:
The Business Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the Project Manager by enhancing communication among the business unit, project team, and stakeholders regarding project requirements and proposed solutions. The responsibilities include:
- Gathering and documenting business requirements (features & user stories) for project requests and managing the product backlog.
- Breaking down user stories into manageable tasks that developers can easily understand.
- Leading discussions to establish acceptance criteria for user stories.
- Engaging with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and relay this information to the development team.
- Utilizing knowledge of business processes to recommend improvements and enhance user value.
Support for Project Management Lifecycle:
The Business Analyst will assist in various aspects of project management, including:
- Promoting the integration of Business Analyst roles and processes.
- Evaluating current capabilities and identifying potential vendor solutions.
- Acting as a liaison among project stakeholders.
- Identifying business needs and drivers for success.
- Collaborating with technical teams to justify solution approaches that enhance customer value.
- Providing both technical and non-technical support to develop project documentation.
- Facilitating user acceptance testing with stakeholders.
- Maintaining ongoing communication with customers post-delivery to address their needs and issues.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's Degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2-3 years of experience in business analysis and requirements documentation.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
