Job Title: Low Voltage Technician

At Creole Cuisine Restaurants Concepts, we are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. As a Low Voltage Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage systems, including structured cabling, voice/data, audio/visual, and security systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and terminate structured cabling infrastructure in a commercial environment
  • Install cables, including cat6, RG6, and speaker cables
  • Organize and prioritize work, and solve problems
  • Identify and source parts, supplies, and repair items as necessary
  • Perform evaluations of alternatives to improve cost and/or reliability of equipment
  • Independently perform maintenance as per industry standards
  • Work with the Director of Maintenance to optimize preventative maintenance procedures
  • Provide assistance to other technicians and leadership to project teams
  • Complete and conduct on-the-job training and technical self-study programs for career development
Requirements:
  • High School Graduate or equivalent (GED)
  • Associates degree with a Technical focus and 5 years of related experience in the specific industry; or, 7 years of experience in the specific industry
  • Understands restaurant equipment electrical, mechanical, and control systems
  • Can analyze the problem, synthesize alternative solutions, and perform repairs
  • Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate
  • May be required to travel
  • Must have own truck and tools needed to perform the job
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands/fingers to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb, ascend/descend or balance to heights that may require a ladder or lift; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in confined spaces; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds. The employee is regularly required to use close vision and color vision. The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. Work is typically performed in a restaurant environment and is usually very loud.
