Manufacturing Engineer

Sogeclair Digital Engineering, a leading aerospace company, is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. With over 60 years of experience and 1,400 employees worldwide, we specialize in design, manufacturing, integration, and certification of structures, interior components, and systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply teams to develop and guide the program manufacturing and tooling plan.
- Ensure the identification and implementation of advanced manufacturing technologies and improve manufacturing processes in support of the type design.
- Use process engineering principles and techniques to develop, establish, and guide requirements for assembly, tooling simulations, and manufacturing configurations.
- Perform trade and cost studies and assist in leading integrated product and process teams.
Ability to apply knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Composite non-metallic, Electrical/Electronics, Machining, Sheet metal, Systems and Structures.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited Engineering program.
- Typically 0 to 1 year of experience in an engineering classification/position.
- Knowledge of fabrication, assembly, and integration of structures and tooling concepts.
- Ability to determine the preferred process, assist in developing the design concept, and direct the manufacture of structural assemblies.
- Experience with the following: Past engineering Internships, Aerospace experience, Manufacturing Engineering, Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing, Project Management, Automation Technology, Hands-on working knowledge of CATIA and SAP, Shop floor / Machine shop / Fabrication support, Auditing, Estimating, Tooling, Tool Planning.
