Job Summary:

The Business Account Executive is responsible for selling primary and ancillary communications solutions to small and medium-sized businesses within a specified territory. This includes coax delivered Internet, video, and voice services, as well as custom hosting, desktop security, data backup, data storage, toll-free numbers, additional email addresses, static IPs, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
• Place orders through order management software and work with the Account Coordinator to ensure accurate and timely submission of sales orders, contracts, billing forms, and sales reports
• Focus on selling and hand off customer service and non-sales related client inquiries to the Customer Service department
• Maintain a complete understanding of Spectrum Business coax services, rates, and applicable taxes
• Demonstrate selling skills and product knowledge, practicing with other Account Executives and staying up-to-date with new sales techniques
• Meet and exceed performance standards as defined by the department Standards of Performance (SOP) and the Spectrum Way Sales Model

Requirements:

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Knowledge of communications technologies and services, with an emphasis on telephone and Internet fundamentals
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Outside sales experience in a high-transaction, short-closing cycle model
• Business-to-business sales experience
• Proven sales history of meeting or exceeding targets
