Job Summary

As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will assist in managing day-to-day operations to ensure exceptional customer service and maintain the highest standards of quality and safety. Your responsibilities will include supervising staff, ordering supplies, and ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in supervising daily food and beverage shift operations and ensure compliance with all policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Support and supervise an effective monthly self-inspection program.
  • Operate all department equipment as necessary and report any malfunctions.
  • Supervise staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives are met.
  • Encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
  • Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.
  • Communicate areas that need attention to staff and follow up to ensure understanding.
  • Coordinate cleaning programs in all food and beverage areas and identify trends for improvement.
  • Follow property-specific second effort and recovery plan.
  • Stay readily available and approachable for all team members.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; 3 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.
  • Or 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 1 year of experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.
