Job Summary

Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cashier/Food Service Worker to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for operating the Point of Sale system, assisting the Chef, preparing coffee, and maintaining a clean and organized coffee and cashier station.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts, as well as assist with catering orders.
  • Perform cashier duties using the POS system, maintaining cash accuracy and making deposits at the end of each shift.
  • Perform general cleaning duties, including removing trash and garbage to designated areas.
  • Provide exceptional service in all retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
  • Inventories and restocks supplies and food products, ensuring that the coffee and cashier stations are well-stocked and organized.
  • Sets up serving lines, ensuring temperatures are taken, recorded, and within acceptable ranges, and notifies cooks if food temperatures are not within acceptable limits.
  • Serves hot and cold items to customers, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Performs other duties as assigned, including setting up items for purchase on a daily basis and keeping the refrigerator stocked and product rotated using the first-in, first-out rule.
