Edu - Associate Professor/Full Professor of Instructional Technology - Tenure/Tenure Track

We are seeking a highly qualified Associate/Full Professor of Instructional Technology to join our team at the University of Alabama. This is a tenure-track position that offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our instructional technology program.
Key Responsibilities- Pursue a rigorous and innovative line of research in instructional technology
- Supervise masters and doctoral students in instructional technology
- Work with doctoral students on research activities related to instructional technology
- Pursue external funding to support research in instructional technology
- Chair and serve on dissertation committees for doctoral students in instructional technology
- Provide leadership and partnership improvements in technology initiatives across the state
- Provide service to the department, college, university, and profession in instructional technology
- Design and teach undergraduate and graduate-level courses in instructional technology and related topics
- Assist in the administration of the instructional technology program
- Doctoral degree in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Learning Sciences, or a closely related field
- Demonstrated knowledge of instructional design and technology theories, principles, and applications
- Demonstrated record of scholarship in instructional technology
- Demonstrated record of excellence in both online and face-to-face teaching at the postsecondary level
- Demonstrated ability to secure external funding to support research in instructional technology or strong potential to do so
- Demonstrated record of successfully mentoring and advising graduate students in instructional technology
