We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health. As a Sleep Rate DSP, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in their daily lives, helping them to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities- Assist individuals with daily activities, including health and personal management, recreation, and daily household living.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic treatment environment that meets the physical, emotional, and personal needs of program individuals.
- Support individuals in achieving their personal goals and improving their functioning and minimizing interfering behaviors.
- A competitive hourly rate of $15.00 during sleep hours and $22.34 per hour when in ratio (commensurate with education and experience).
- A comprehensive benefits package, including paid orientation and access to the Savi Student Loan Checkup tool.
- The opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals who share your passion for helping individuals with developmental disabilities.
- A High School Diploma/GED with 2 years of related experience or an Associate's Degree with 1 year of related experience.
- A Valid NY Driver's License.
- Flexibility, patience, energy, creativity, and a sense of humor.
- A strong passion for working with and helping children and adults with special needs.
