Position Overview:
As an Educator at Primrose School of Wayne, you will play a vital role in nurturing the growth and development of young children, guiding them as they explore and learn about their surroundings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily activities and overall supervision of a designated group of infants.
- Adhere to all regulations and guidelines set forth by Primrose School of Wayne and relevant local, state, or national agencies concerning child health, safety, and care.
- Continuously assess and address each child's developmental needs.
- Implement the approved lesson plans and maintain the daily classroom schedule aligned with the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum.
- Collaborate with leadership to organize parent-teacher conferences and conduct student evaluations.
- Maintain a clean, engaging classroom environment that encourages creativity and decision-making among children.
- Provide positive reinforcement and establish clear behavioral expectations for children.
- Take responsibility for the upkeep of the classroom, shared spaces, and outdoor areas.
- Attend mandatory staff meetings, workshops, and school events.
- Uphold a professional appearance in accordance with the Primrose School of Wayne Employee Handbook.
- Assist in additional duties as assigned by the Director or their designee.

Qualifications:
- Must meet the basic requirements set by local child care regulatory agencies.
- Previous experience in a teaching or assistant teaching role within a licensed early childhood program is preferred.
- Understanding of the social, emotional, and developmental needs of young children.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. for the safe handling of children and to respond to emergencies. For Infant and Young Toddler educators, the ability to lift infants safely is essential.
- A two-year degree in early childhood education or a related field is preferred for Infant and Preschool Teachers.
