Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our team at ADCO. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the management of daily property operations, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and coordinating maintenance and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Property Manager in managing daily property operations
  • Respond to tenant inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Coordinate and oversee maintenance and repairs of the property
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial reports
  • Assist in the leasing and marketing of available units
  • Perform regular inspections of the property to ensure it is well-maintained and meets safety standards
  • Assist in the enforcement of lease agreements and property rules
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of tenant and property information
  • Assist in the preparation of lease agreements and other legal documents
  • Attend meetings with property owners, vendors, and other stakeholders as needed

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in property management or related field
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Knowledge of property management laws and regulations
  • Experience with budgeting and financial reporting
  • Experience with leasing and marketing
  • Ability to handle tenant complaints and resolve conflicts
  • Experience with property maintenance and repair
  • Experience with vendor management and contract negotiation
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
