Senior Property Tax Analyst

Premier Global Links is seeking a highly skilled Senior Property Tax Analyst to join our team in Rochester, NY. As a key member of our tax department, you will be responsible for managing the preparation, review, and filing of property tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the preparation, review, and filing of property tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Analyze property tax assessments, bills, and liabilities to ensure accuracy and identify potential savings opportunities.
- Assist in the development and implementation of property tax strategies to minimize the company's tax burden.
- Maintain accurate records of property tax payments, filings, and related documentation.
- Liaise with internal departments and external consultants to gather necessary information and resolve property tax issues.
- Conduct research and analysis on property tax laws and regulations to keep the company informed of changes that may impact its tax obligations.
- Support audits and appeals by preparing documentation and representing the company's interests.
- Provide regular reports and analysis to senior management on property tax matters and financial impact.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in property tax, tax accounting, or a similar role.
- Onsite Requirement: Ability to work onsite in Rochester, NY, for 3-4 days per week.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or progress toward certification.
- Experience in a corporate tax environment with a focus on multi-state property tax.
