About the Role

Pacific Clinics is seeking a highly skilled Crisis Intervention Specialist to join our team. As a Crisis Intervention Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing mobile mental health evaluation and response services to individuals in crisis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide crisis assessment and de-escalation services to individuals in crisis, including those experiencing psychiatric emergencies or behavioral distress.
  • Develop and implement strength-based relationships with clients to support their mental health and well-being.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and other community stakeholders to provide crisis intervention and response services.
  • Link clients to community resources and services to support their ongoing mental health needs.
  • Participate in crisis intervention and de-escalation training for law enforcement and other community stakeholders.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field preferred.
  • One year of experience working in the mental health field, preferably in crisis intervention or response.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality services to clients.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
