The Opportunity

Carbon Direct is seeking a Senior Administrative Coordinator to provide essential support to our senior science leaders and the broader team within our rapidly expanding organization.

This role offers a unique blend of responsibilities and the chance to collaborate with our global team, which includes leading climate scientists, engineers, and marketing professionals.

The ideal candidate will be a flexible, self-motivated individual with exceptional attention to detail and the capability to swiftly learn and implement new processes that enhance our operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage calendars for senior executives, including scheduling appointments and organizing logistics.
  • Oversee travel arrangements, including participation in high-level international events.
  • Serve as a liaison between executives and both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Prepare, review, and submit expense reports.
  • Assist leaders in preparing for key meetings through research and presentation preparation.
  • Maintain an organized electronic filing system and document meeting minutes.
  • Provide support for event planning and execution, including retreats and team gatherings.
  • Assist other functional areas and leadership team members with special projects as needed.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an executive assistant to senior leaders.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adept at cross-functional collaboration, maintaining professional relationships with a global team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to change and thrive in a dynamic work environment.
  • Demonstrated success in a fast-paced, results-oriented professional setting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to shift focus quickly.
  • Passion for addressing climate change and familiarity with tools such as Google Suite, Slack, and Zoom.
Compensation and Benefits

Our compensation ranges from $99,000 to $121,000 annually. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that prioritizes the well-being of our employees and their families.
