Responsibilities

The PCT will assist in various clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under the supervision of nursing staff. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting patient mobility and positioning.
  • Assisting patients with personal care and daily living activities.
  • Monitoring and reporting changes in patients' physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in patient rooms and ensuring medical equipment is in proper working condition.
Qualifications

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider certification required within 30 days of hire, accepted from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Nurse Aide certification is preferred.

Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, or 1 year of relevant job experience required.
