About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Risk Analyst to join our team at Discover. As a key member of our risk management team, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and managing Business Risk governance and reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide centralized support for committee processes and content production, including coordination with stakeholders and key contacts.
  • Develop, execute, and continuously improve audit-ready processes with robust documentation and evidence retention.
  • Collaborate with enterprise business partners to identify high-value reporting opportunities that meet or exceed regulatory expectations.
  • Develop and implement preventative controls over committee reporting processes, ensuring quality, accuracy, and transparency of data and processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Management, Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Technology, Statistics, or related field.
  • 6+ years in Consumer Financial Services/Banking, Risk/Compliance Management, Business Analysis, Project Management, Agile, Lean/Six Sigma, Quantitative, Computer Science, Management Science, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters Degree in Business Administration or Management or Finance or Analytics.
  • Experience facilitating the operations of a Management or Board level Committee.
  • Experience performing Quality Assurance/Control of risk reports.
  • Experience communicating complex ideas and opportunities with senior leadership in a simple and concise manner.
What We Offer
  • Competitive base pay ranging from $88,500 to $149,000.
  • A range of benefits and programs based on eligibility, including paid parental leave, paid time off, 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, and health savings account.
