Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage security staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and other stakeholders to ensure effective security operations
  • Provide training and development opportunities for security staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Manage security budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of funds
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including patients, visitors, and Health First associates
  • Respond to security incidents and emergencies in a timely and effective manner
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in security management

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory or management experience in a security-related field
  • 1 year of prior law enforcement experience or service in the military
  • Current Class D Security Officer License and Class G Statewide Firearm License
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • Basic mathematical skills to calculate budgets and costs

Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to climb up to 9 flights of stairs
  • Must be able to withstand extreme heat and cold
  • Must be able to listen, speak, walk, stand, bend, and stoop for extended periods
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
