LPN Full-Time Position

Carillon Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care to our residents and work collaboratively with our Quality of Life Specialists/Resident Assistants to ensure the highest level of care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and treatments accurately and document all medications in accordance with department procedures.
  • Inform physician, nurse manager, or responsible party/family of changes in resident's condition or incidents when appropriate.
  • Ensure each resident's Care Plan is followed to meet the residents' needs and state requirements.
  • Supervise and assist assigned Certified Nurse Aides and other nursing staff, delegating assignments and ensuring completion.
  • Perform specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of vocational nursing.
  • Maintains a current license with the Texas State Board of Nurse Examiners for Vocational Nursing.
  • Have a current card for the successful completion of Basic Cardiac Life Support (CPR - Healthcare Provider).
  • Have at least one-year experience as charge nurse in a geriatric setting preferred.
